One-Day Choir: Defying Gravity
Join us for a WICKED One-Day Choir with River City Pops, Austin’s Premier Show Choir!
In honor of the upcoming film release, we will learn, rehearse, and perform this iconic musical number together, under the direction of our Artistic Director, Abi Archey! Signing up for this pay-what-you-can one-day choir requires no long-term commitment—just one evening of singing, fun, and community. We bring the sheet music, space, and director, and you bring the vocals and fun!
Open to all skill levels, whether you’re a seasoned singer or just love to sing for fun. Come make music, meet new people, and enjoy a unique musical experience!
The one-day choir will take place at Violet Crown City Church in Austin from 7-9pm on Tuesday, November 19th. Thematic outfits / colors are encouraged! Violet Crown City Church is located at 1300 Morrow Street.

Join us for an unforgettable night of mischief at Bad to the Bone, an evening cabaret co-produced by River City Pops & Birchwood Performing Arts.
On October 25th, just in time for Halloween, come embrace your inner villain at Cherrywood Coffeehouse for an electric experience featuring some of the most devilish tunes from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to the seasonal classic “I Put a Spell on You.”
