We want to see you sing whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident! We prefer a 60 second cut of a song of your choice. There will be a spot below to provide a link to your audition song.

After a round of 6 auditioners, we will then teach all of you a short and fun dance combo so wear comfy shoes! (Again, please don't fret, we just want to see you have fun!)

2026–2027 Season

Fall Season:

Spring Season:

Rehearsals are held Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout each season. While we are very flexible with our rehearsals, regular attendance is important to help us create the best possible performance while supporting one another as an ensemble.

At River City Pops, we believe music is for everyone. We strive to create a supportive, affirming environment where people of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels can learn, grow, and have fun together. We value collaboration over competition and are committed to building a community where everyone feels they belong.

What can I expect as a member of RCP?

  • Each year we put on one or two stage shows. We sing, we dance, we have fun. We create our shows from scratch with full group numbers created by our leadership and director, but the majority of our show comes from “specialty” numbers created and produced by group members. This makes every RCP show a truly unique experience.

  • We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Members are expected to help with fundraising to the best of their ability through various opportunities both in-person and virtual.

  • Rehearsal schedules vary from show-to-show and gig-to-gig, but generally our rehearsals are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 - 9 or 10 pm with occasional Saturday mornings as we get closer to our show date.
